We were honored to collaborate with the School of Social Works at the University of Hargeisa in facilitating a crucial consultation workshop. The workshop focused on reviewing the first draft of the National Childcare and Youth Development training curriculum, a significant step toward shaping the future of our youth.
Participants included key government ministries such as MESAF (Ministry of Employment, Social Affairs, and Family), the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of National Development and Planning. Their valuable insights will contribute to a comprehensive and effective curriculum.
Representatives from the School of Social Works at private universities in Hargeisa and the dedicated team from SOS Children’s Village of Somaliland also joined forces to make this workshop a diverse and impactful event.
The discussions and feedback gathered during the workshop will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of childcare and youth development in Somaliland.
